Most of the examples on this site, while they are genuine doodles and the lines have not been altered for presentation, have, however, had their contrast and color adjusted for clear and snappy presentation.
On this page are several scans of the original notepages on which doodles gradually appeared during tiresome business meetings or protracted phone calls. The actual line creation was performed as the artist feigned an industrious and attentive demeanor. Got away with it, too (usually).
For meeting notes, the quantity of doodles on the the page is affected by three main factors: (in inverse proportion) whether the boss is looking at the artist, (in direct proportion) how tiresome subject matter of the meeting was, and (in direct proportion until I dose off) the length of the meeting.
One interesting psychological note: I found that for days after a vivid meeting, looking at the various images could bring to mind topics discussed at the point in the meeting when the image was being drawn. This effect faded with time, however, which confirms the superiority of the written word as lecture notes. Darn.

Thank you for your interest in my idiosyncratic meanderings, particularly if you actually read all the way to this point. In time, I hope to present more doodles and intend to eventually ask for contributions of doodles for consideration for a future Gallery page!
Of course, I hope to also get more of my careful, labored drawings up onto the web, but in drawing them, I hope not to lose the freshness and even unpredictability of my best doodles
Thanks for viewing my jottings!
